The Melbourne Connection Backpackers & Travellers
Hostel is a small, friendly hostel, situated in Melbourne's city
centre. We cater for backpackers and other budget conscious travellers
who are lucky enough to be visiting Melbourne for study, work, a festival
or sporting event or perhaps just a weekend away.
The staff at Melbourne Connection are all seasoned travellers and understand
the demands of backpacking. We appreciate how important it is to make
your dollar go further, and won’t make you sacrifice comfort or
cleanliness. We will do everything we can to make your stay as enjoyable
as possible.
Our central location provides easy access to all of Melbourne's venues
and attractions, either by foot or a short tram ride. Bus, rail and
air terminals are all within easy reach, as are Melbourne's famous shops,
galleries, theatres and nightlife.
We’re all Melburnians here and are happy to share our local knowledge,
to help with any problems you may have, or to offer advice that will
help make your stay more enjoyable. We can even point you in the direction
of the many hidden gems of Melbourne including the coolest bars, cafes
and clubs!
